Facilitation Services*

Region 9 will provide meeting facilitation services for community groups and governments that fit Region 9's economic and community development mission. This includes community meetings, task force processes, one-time retreats, strategic planning, and coalition building. Region 9 does not provide mediation services.

All groups will receive 2 hours of consultation for no cost, and if Region 9 is unable to conduct your meeting, recommendations of other facilitators will be made.

Special Projects*

Region 9 also partners with community groups, governments and the private sector to assist in the development of special projects.

Those services include:

• Review and/or develop marketing literature and/marketing plans
• Assistance with publicity
• Nonprofit consultation including:
  • Evaluating pros and cons of project seeking 501 c(3) status and meeting nonprofit requirements
  • Reviewing bylaws, and other nonprofit operating documents
  • Meeting coordination
  • Data collection reports (Implan)
  • Partner on projects that are of economic benefit to a community
  • Other services available on request
