The Southwest Colorado Council of Governments (SWCCOG) was created to provide regional leadership on behalf of governments throughout Southwest Colorado by defining regional issues, advocating for mutual goals, and administering regional programs. Priorities include Broadband, Housing, Transportation/Transit and shared services to create economies of scale. The SWCCOG was integrated into Region 9 EDD in 2022.
